Description

The physics book program at Cambridge University Press is renowned globally for its quality, breadth and variety. Spanning best-selling textbooks to support courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, cutting-edge research overviews and practical how-to volumes, our portfolio includes titles from the world’s most prominent physicists. We are seeking an ambitious young scientist or publishing professional with an interest in teaching and research developments in physics to join our team and acquire new book projects, manage a portfolio of titles through to successful publication, and drive improvements in our publishing processes and strategies for the future.

We wish to recruit an editor with the people skills and business acumen to help us remain at the forefront of scientific publishing, serving the needs of students, researchers and academic societies. The academic publishing industry is going through an exciting period of change, with technological developments and new business models radically changing the way our content is presented and delivered
