One of the ideas that came from the UP Week Collaboration Lab this past June was to find ways to include press authors in University Press Week—informing and engaging some of our best advocates. We're pursuing several new initiatives to reach out to faculty and scholarly authors, and putting together materials that should help members reach out to their own authors.

• The AAUP Acquisitions Editorial Committee has worked woth the UP Week Task Force to host a special "Getting Published" panel during University Press Week 2015. It is a free online session that can be viewed live on Google+ on Friday, November 13, at noon Eastern, and will be archived on YouTube afterwards.
